Christmas Lanterns: beautiful for outdoor Christmas lighting.
- Take a tin can, such as a tomato sauce or soup can.
- Punch holes around the top using either a punch, or a hammer and thick nail. If using a hammer and nail, it's best to put a dowel (or tree branch) inside the can to prevent it from bending out of shape. Select a thickness that almost completely fills the can.
- Center a wick into the bottom of the can.
- Fill 2/3 full with paraffin or beeswax.
(Or, you could use tealights.)
- Add twisted wire for a handle and hang in the garden, along the fence, or on a patio.
