Welcome To Canadian Country Woman!
My name is Sara, and this site has come about as a result of my love for the simpler things in life. Within these pages you will find everything from gardening information and tips, through cooking, baking, and preserving to photos I have taken. Who knows, I might even throw in some local stories and legends too!
HURRAY! IT'S TIME TO START TOMATO PLANTS and all your other seeds that need an extended growing season. I've been waiting to finally get to this stage because it means that spring must be just around the corner.
If you've never started Plants from Seeds you will find all the instructions right here, along with easy to follow diagrams. And for you tomato enthusiasts, I've greatly expanded the page on How To Grow Garden Tomatoes. Not only will you find information on starting your plants indoors, but there are also links to rare and unique tomato varieties, all your tomato growing accessories like tomato cages and covers, and an extensive section on tomato diseases.
Also, there's a NEW CANADIAN COUNTRY WOMAN BLOG. I'd love to hear from you!
